🌙 Pore Care 101: How to Keep Your Skin Smooth and Radiant

Pores are a natural and essential part of our skin—they allow it to breathe, release toxins, and regulate oil. While you can’t make pores disappear (they’re part of your skin’s structure), you can take steps to keep them healthy, refined, and less noticeable.

1. Keep It Clean, But Gentle

Clogged pores can stretch and appear larger. Daily cleansing removes dirt, oil, and makeup that can build up. But remember: harsh scrubbing can irritate your skin and make pores look worse. Choose a gentle cleanser that respects your skin barrier.

2. Exfoliate Regularly

Exfoliation clears away dead skin cells that block pores and cause congestion. Aim for 1–2 times per week with a gentle exfoliant. Look for formulas with alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) or beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs) to keep skin clear and smooth.

3. Hydrate, Don’t Dry Out

Skipping moisturizer in hopes of shrinking pores can backfire. When skin is dehydrated, it produces more oil, which can clog pores. A lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer keeps pores balanced and healthy.

4. Protect With SPF

Sun damage weakens collagen, making pores look larger over time. Daily sunscreen helps preserve skin’s elasticity, keeping pores tighter and less visible.

5. Choose Pore-Friendly Products

Look for products labeled “non-comedogenic,” which means they won’t clog pores. Lightweight serums, gel moisturizers, and mineral-based sunscreens are great choices.

6. Practice Self-Care Rituals

Pore care isn’t only about products—it’s also about lifestyle. Stay hydrated, manage stress, and nourish your skin with a balanced diet. Healthy habits support glowing skin from within.

✨ Glow Like Moon Tip: For a quick pore refresh, try a warm steam facial at home once a week. It helps loosen impurities, opens pores, and allows treatments to absorb better—leaving your skin soft and radiant.

🌙 Remember: the goal isn’t to erase your pores, but to care for them lovingly, so your natural glow shines through.
